Where It Started

Y2KTees started the way a lot of good things do -- late at night, deep in the internet, surrounded by too many browser tabs. We were scrolling through old forums, saving pixelated graphics, and laughing at the stuff that defined the early 2000s. The butterfly clips, the chunky fonts, the absurd optimism of a generation that thought the future would look like a screensaver. Somewhere between the nostalgia and the memes, we realized: this energy deserves to live on a t-shirt.

So we started making them. Not mass-produced blanks with clip art slapped on top, but actual designs that feel like they mean something -- even if what they mean is a little weird. Our tees pull from Y2K aesthetics, internet humor, retro pop culture, and the kind of self-expression that doesn't need to explain itself.

What We Make

Every Y2KTees design starts as a concept we actually care about. We sketch, iterate, argue about fonts, and only print the ones that make us want to wear them ourselves.
